“I’ve never been a big fan of a regular gym box. I would get there and ask myself, “where do I start?” “Am I doing this right?” I thought I would give the women’s bootcamp a try. I began my fitness journey in April 2017. The women’s bootcamp has been a great fit for my life, being a mother of 2 young children. The gym at Body By Burnis is very kid-friendly and that has been a big plus. “At 62, I feel I’m in some of the best shape of my life. I’ve been coming to Body By Burnis consistently for 12 years now, and still look forward to each and every class. Routines are a good combination of warm-up, strength training, aerobics and flexibility. Classes are small enough that the instructors know you, watch carefully for good/safe form and motivate to improve. And, they make it fu. The (all women) attendees are from all age groups, and some classes allow younger kids to attend and play on the sidelines. Over the years, I’ve belonged to various gyms and clubs, but this is by far the best!”
